Back in the 1930’s town of New Palermo, there is the coolest little shop you ever did see….
The Hep-Tone Music Store is an amazing place. Owned and run by Mr Tony Koch. Tony is primarily a DJ in second life, and plays all sorts of music across the grid from Abba to Indie and everything in between (excepting Nickleback and country based rock ballads, which he tells me are lines he just won’t cross!).
As well as all this Tony has a love of 1920’s and 1930’s music, and his swing sets are awesome, and you really must try to get to one of his gig of this era, they are a real treat. He plays sets in the 1930’s town of New Palermo on a Friday ant 5pm slt -7pm slt and also on a Sunday usually at 11am slt to 12 noon slt. (lm at the bottom of the post).
Born out of his love for music from the swing era. Tony developed a range of music players for residents to play the music they want in their own homes. He has a wide range of music players available, from portable record players, to a floor standing radio and a gramophone. The whole range can bee seen here http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Whispering%20Mountain/171/78/26 at his music store, along with the awesome music collections and singles you can buy to add to your players.
New Palermo is set in the 1930’s. The sim is well worth a visit, so while you are there looking at music, take a walk around the town and have a look, it really is an awesome place, and of course Tony’s isn’t the only business there. Theres lots to see there, and the people there are very friendly and welcoming. you really should visit soon!
