Blogging works! I have first hand proof of this. I made a post on Monday, and within minutes of me posting it to all my sl groups, one of my sponsors im’d me to say she liked the post. I smiled to myself, because, as always as bloggers, we like to know that our sponsors like what we do right? Not just the ‘likes’ on social media such as facebook and flickr, but also to get a personal im is always a great compliment. Especially knowing how busy our sponsors are with all their designing and what not!
However, my smile did not last long as I read the im….’Hi Phen, I love your post….but…’ My face dropped. There’s always a but. As it turned out she was just telling me that a couple of my links in my post did not work. I had, as always checked them before publishing, but somehow they had been broken, any way it was a quick fix and two minutes later I had updated the links and all was working fine again. Problem solved. Soon the smile was back on my face though, as, while I had been away from sl updating links on my blog, she had kept typing, and she was telling me how much she liked the nails I was wearing and was checking my lm links in the post to go buy them!
Well I was chuffed to pieces. So much so that I shared with the designer of the nails that this had happened. Of course, she was not surprised it worked, because, if there was no evidence it worked, our fabulous sponsors would not give away their wonderful designs just for us bloggers to take pictures and talk about them. That would be silly!
Proof of two things. Yes it’s worth the time and effort to make sure links work, people really do look! And yes, it’s worth the time and effort to make close up shots of the small things, people really do look!
I have some tasty things to show you today….
This lovely little dress from Pretty Things is so cute! It comes with a HUD to change colours and there are some lovely prints and colours to chose from. It comes in the normal std sizes and usual fits for mesh bodies. Available at this round of Designer Showcase.
The Tattoo is fabulous. This is from Jonas at CS Tattoo. A recent addition to my sponsors, I really love his work. And of course, we all like new ink right? This tattoo is his exclusive item for round 2 of Addicted to Black Event. If you click HERE there is a picture of the back too!

They are for Buy Now, a market place based event where items are only available on the market place, the link below will take you to the Buy It Now information centre. You can’t rea see the nails in my picture above (sorry), but HERE is a closer look.
