Gay pride or LGBT pride is the positive stance against discrimination and violence toward lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people to promote their self-affirmation, dignity, equality rights, increase their visibility as a social group, build community, and celebrate sexual diversity and gender variance.
You all knew this right? Of course I did too. But when I was preparing this post I wasn’t 100% certain exactly what Pride was, and when I turned to my old friend Google, this is what it said. My intention was to research and write it in my own words, but the description was so perfect, it needed no enhancing, I couldn’t have put it better myself.
So here I am, in my own celebration of sexual diversity and gender variance, with some awesome items form the current round of PocketGacha.
I’m showing off this awesome outfit from Spectacledchic. This is from the Day Out Gacha collection. The top and shorts come in one piece, and are a rare item, with a HUD offering lots of options for texture/colour changes of all aspects of the outfit, (shorts, collar& cuffs, sleeves and top). The earrings are also included in the set. My hair is called Sophia, and this is from Doe, again a gacha set with lots of colours to collect. The prop/pose is from the Ice Cream Gacha set by Amitie. A collection of poses which include the ice cream prop and there is also a milkshake one too. The decor I have used is from Cubura, and this is the Pride Vol.2 Gacha set which is a collection of decor items released for Pride month. All of these items are available on the current PocketGacha HUD, which you can get free at the PocketGacha Inworld store or on the marketplace store, and you can read more about PocketGacha and how it works on the website HERE. I’ve listed all the items I’ve used in the credits below.
