That was 2019…

So, that was the year that was.  As I sit here with my coffee, contemplating was has been, and what will come, I do so with some trepidation.  2019 was the year we in the UK allowed our country to be led by a total buffoon (a ridiculous but amusing person; a clown).  I worry for the future.  And next year, Brexit will finally be done, and I worry for the future.

On a personal note its been a hard year for my family, one frought with heartache, illness and long recoveries.

So all in all a pretty shitty year.  I can’t do anything about the impending doom and gloom politically in the UK, I did my bit but the majority ruled against it. And, what will be will be. But, I can do something about my own path.  And I’m so determined to make this year a better year for me personally.  I have hope, and optimism, and a positive outlook that things will get better for both me and my family.  One thing I do know for sure, what ever 2020 throws at us, it won’t break us, we are survivors.
