tartan & toadstools

I thought we had seen the back of the storms that have ripped their way through the UK recently.  We had Ciara, and then Dennis, and then it all seemed to go calm for a few days, but last night I was kept awake by the most noisy, howling gusts of wind you ever heard.  Seriously it sounded like something out of a horror movie.  And it’s still blowing a hooley out there now.  It is literally screeching around the house!  I won’t be going out today that’s for sure!
