You may have thought his post would be another song posting! Fooled ya! It’s not, but I thought the title went with my picture.
Lockdown’s got to me the last couple of days, as I’m sure it is getting to everyone. I am craving company, which is surprising ‘cos normally I don’t like people! But just to see someone for a coffee and a chat, in person, would be nice. My grocery delivery arrived this evening, and I was so desperate for company I almost asked the delivery driver to stay and chat, I’d have even made him a cuppa! And of course observing social distancing would have been a must. But the poor guy looked busy, and harassed, so I didn’t say anything except hello, thank you, and goodbye.
In other news, our Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, affectionately known as BoJo around these parts, and his girlfriend Carrie have had their baby, a little boy, both mother and baby doing well, good news for them.
The UK Government in one of of their daily Coronavirus briefings this week, stated that panic buying had stopped, and stocks in grocery stores were back to normal levels. Not true. I haven’t been able to get any eggs for three weeks. I can’t get any hand sanitiser or soap, I have a little left, but need some soon. I wanted to buy some flour (along with the eggs) as I thought I might try my hand at baking a cake, but alas, there is no flour available either. So no, Mr Government man, stocks are not back to normal, your data is inaccurate.
I’m feeling flat today, kind of deflated. That is all.
