Oh yes indeedy today is a good day for me. I didn’t sleep much last night because I was so excited, you know, like a kid on Christmas! You see, at the beginning of last week I had some really good news, and a bit of an unexpected windfall. This has enabled me to be able to buy myself a new car. I mean actually buy it, without having to take out a hire purchase agreement or borrow from the bank. This makes me very happy as my old car, much as I love her, has come to the end of her useful life. She’s 15 years old now, I’ve had her since she was just 5, and she has served me very well, with very few problems until the last 12 months. The little lady is starting to cost me money, so, I’m afraid it’s time to let her go.
This afternoon, I will be picking up my new little lady, and I can’t wait! She’s not new, new, but shes new to me, and newer than my old one, so fingers crossed she will be with me for at least another 10 years, if not more.
