I decided, at the very last minute, that I would take myself off to the beach this weekend for a change of scenery and to recharge. My Sister’s in law’s have a static caravan on a very private site on the east coast of England. It has it’s own private beach too. My Sister had been there for a few days, and she asked if I would like to join her. So I did. I’m still very wary about going anywhere where there are too many people, and I was a little apprehensive about it. But, there comes a point when you realise that COVID is here to stay for at least the foreseeable future, and we are going to have to learn to live with it at some point. However, I needn’t have worried. Despite the beautiful weather, there were very few people around. We ordered food in, and kept ourselves to ourselves. I even managed a walk on the beach and dipped my toes in the sea! It was a very pleasant couple of days. I’m glad I went.
