Ruby, the owner of The Pose Fair event, came up with, what I thought was a fabulous idea! The A Day Without a Pose Challenge, the challenge is exactly what it says on the tin! To style and take a beautiful photo, with no poses or animations of any sort. This highlights just how much we rely on our poses and animations to make our pictures come alive in SL.
This is my submission, and to be honest, I look dead! I tuned off all my facial expressions in my head hud, and turned off my ao, and just stood there. There were other people around me at Whimberly also taking pictures, and I was so hoping they were all too busy taking their own shots and not looking at me wondering what the hell I was doing!
The Pose Fair September 2020 round opens in just a few days, on the 7th September. This has long been one of my favourite events to blog for. There’s every thing from static poses, animations, backdrops, props and all sorts of fabulous stuff to bring life to your pictures. Don’t forget to visit, you won’t be disappointed! And bloggers, please remember if you use a pose, prop, backdrop or animation in your pictures, that is made by someone else, please, please credit them, these essential items breathe life into your pictures, and they deserve as much to be credited as that lovely hair or beautiful dress!
