Pinch, punch, it’s the first of the month! I have positive news on my rl job front! Since returning back work at the end of July on very much reduced hours, and months of worrying that I will actually lose my job (like thousands of others), I now have some more news. My boss called me yesterday to tell me that my hours are increasing from 13 to 20 hours a week. So instead of working just three mornings a week, I will now be working 4 hours a day for 5 days, still from home, but that’s ok, it keeps me safe! This is great news as it will make a difference to my pay packet! It’s still not the full time hours I was working before, and for the remaining hours I stay on the Government funded job retention scheme for now, but that’s ok, there is indeed light at the end of the tunnel, which hopefully will not be a train!
