Yesterday, when I took this picture, it was a very grey day. Grey skies, drizzle, and just generally, well, grey! Today when I woke up, it was quite bright, the sun was shining, although its cold, there was a nice crisp frost, the first I’ve seen this Autumn. It kind of made me smile, I like the crisp, bright, cooler days, and everything looks so pretty covered in frost. It’s all sparkly when the sun shines on it!
So, two major political events happen today, one here and one in the US. Here, the Prime Minister, known as BoJo around these parts, well he puts the Lockdown policy before parliament today, and the MP’s will either vote for it or against it, I think we are pretty much expecting it to be a goer though, although there is talk of some rebellion in the benches, I’m pretty certain it will go ahead as planned. It’s not ideal, it’s very hard, but, it’s safe. We need to be safe.
The other thing is the Election in the US. I don’t really understand a lot about US politics, but as I understand it the results should be in sometime today. At least the preliminary results. I have been following some of my friends across the water on FB, with their stories of queues hours long to get to vote. I’m am so proud of them sticking it out. It’s important to vote. Everybody should use their vote, one way or the other. I really hope the US get the result they are hoping for, I’m rooting for them.
