Yesterday, my Sister and I, along with other members of my family, were discussing our Christmas plans this year. Everybody, the world over, will be having to make adjustments this year, and the normal may not be possible. While gutted we can’t have the Christmas we would like, we have come up with a plan that will work. It means dividing the family somewhat so half of them have Christmas in one house, while myself, my Sister and her Daughter, will have Christmas together at her house. This works for me, my Sister is my support bubble.
While sad we can’t have the Christmas we want, I did point out that we have been very lucky, we have all stuck to the rules and been so careful since March, and so far, none of us has caught the virus or been tested positive, and to risk that just for one day, it would be such a shame. It was agreed that after all this business is over, we will have one great big, family party. Something to look forward to!
