TGIF! It’s been a long week, yet it’s gone so quickly! I had the first three days of this week off work, using up some spare holiday days, on Wednesday I went out for lunch with my Sister, we used to lunch often, pre Covid days, but we hadn’t been out out in over a year, so it was a real treat to get out again! We went to a local beauty spot, a big posh hotel and restaurant set amongst beautiful woodlands and gardens, we laughed and talked a lot, and ate too much! The sun was shining, and we spent a good couple of hours exploring the gardens in the sunshine too. It was really nice, a well deserved treat for both of us. We were lucky to have picked the best day of the week weather wise, since then it’s done nothing but rain and has been so windy with it, typical British Summertime weather!
