that other place

So finally, after two years of working from home, it’s time to go back to that other place, the one I call ‘the office’. Whilst I do prefer my own company, living alone can take it’s toll, sometimes I don’t see another person for days on end. I talk to people on the phone all the time, but it’s not the same. I’m not a people person, in fact, I don’t really like people, however, I do feel the need to get back to the ‘old’ normal. At least it will get me out of the house everyday. So yes, I welcome the move back. Having said that, the thought of going back into the fray, has caused me some anxiety this week. We are creatures of habit, and change can be unsettling, and I think it’s that that has been bothering me. I was actually due to go back this week, but logistically it wasn’t feasible, but now the date is set, and next Tuesday is the day. We will see how it goes.

In other news, I have some gorgeous newness from the grid to show you. This very pretty dress is Camille, by Vinyl Apparel. I just love this, it is so elegant, and can be dressed up or down. Camille comes in a range of gorgeous colours, and you can find her right now at N21, which runs until 12th May.

It’s very rare that I am able to buy expensive purchases in sl, but now I’m earning a little money in world, with a couple of jobs I do, I was able to purchase the new head from Lelutka. This is called Ora, and she is ever so pretty. It took just a few tweaks of my old shape to get her to look how I wanted, I think she’s a keeper! You can get Ora at The Inithium Event, there’s only a few days left, the event closes on 30th April, but Ora will be in the Lelutka store very shortly afterwards, I’m sure.

And, with a new head, has to come new skin, it’s the law! Glam Affair have released the brand new, and beautiful Ora skin. Ora comes in a range of skin tones, as usual, to match both the Glam Affair and Velour body skins. She also comes with a whole host of add on’s included in the pack, like freckles and lip toners, brows, etc. Ora is available right now at the current round of The Fifty, which runs until 20th May, so plenty of time to go and grab her!
